Tami Allman Harris: June 11, 2014
She states "I do not believe that the
church today is anywhere close to what Joseph Smith had set up in the beginning
of the restoration." "We as his people, should continually be working
on seeing Christ, hearing Christ, communing with Christ and if we haven’t, then
that is what we should be pursuing. THAT is what eternal life is, to know Him,
to see him, to commune with him in THIS life." She mentions the brethren
believe they have the "authority to give another of their choosing this
second anointing... I feel it a little blasphemous. God is no respector of
persons,He giveth to ALL men liberally." Has concern over having to
"'pay' for our salvation" though she believes in the principle of
tithing, is a full tithe payer, does not believe it should be required to
receive eternal ordinances. There is no longer transparency. She quoted 2 Nephi
26:25, saying "Come unto me all ye ends of the earth, buy milk and honey,
without money and without price." She believes the church was a stepping stone
and "There was a purpose, but now the purpose is done." Finally she
states "I want to serve him and him alone."
